Lab Tech

Direct Hire opening for an environmentallab technicianfor growing laboratory in Dothan, Al that specializes in the analysis of water and wastewater. Currently we have openings for both a part time and full-time lab techs. The hours for this position are Monday- Friday with a daytime schedule, rotating weekends will be added once fully trained. The part time position will work around 20-25 hours a week and will be scheduled. Can potentially work around school schedule for college science program students. Description Interact with our clients daily when receiving samples. Drive in the immediate vicinity of our lab for sample collection and pickup Perform various physical, chemical, and microbiological analysis of water, sludge, and soil in accordance with state and federal regulations. Document analytical findings to accurately report results Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or environmental science strongly preferred Recent grads or current science program students are encouraged to apply. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required Familiarity in a laboratory setting, including equipment, safety and sanitation Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent multi-tasking abilities Proficient computer skills, including data entry Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently to perform tasks Personnel Resources is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
