Surgical Tech and Surgical Assistant
Miami Neuroscience Institute Baptist Health South Florida
Support surgical procedures before, during, and after surgery. Responsibilities: OR and patient preparation, sterilization and organization of instruments, sterile field maintenance, surgical instrumentation, tissue retraction, hemostasis, suturing, incision closure, and postoperative support. Bachelor of Science Degree in Surgical Technology, Certification as a Surgical Assistant, and a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Surgical Assistant/Scrub Technician in a surgical setting.
