Room Attendant / Housekeeper

Room Attendant – Texas A&M Hotel & Conference Center We are seeking dedicated Room Attendants to join our Housekeeping Department at the Texas A&M Hotel & Conference Center in College Station, Texas. Responsibilities Daily changing of soiled linens and remaking beds following property standards. Thorough cleanliness & sanitation of guest rooms, furnishings, hallways, and restrooms. Maintain an orderly and stocked work cart, storage closets, and other work areas. Proper utilization and care of equipment, devices, supplies & guest amenities. Follow lost and found procedures and respect guests’ property. Required Qualifications Housekeeping experience desirable. Neat, pleasant personality. Time management skills. Ability to work on feet for extended periods. Effective communication skills. Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions. Capability to move, traverse, and position self in tight spaces to reach corners, high places, and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs. Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs. Schedule Part‑time: 8‑25 hours per week (business forecast). Shift: 8:30AM – 4:00PM; weekends scheduled based on business needs. Training period: Up to 90 days before transition to full‑time. Compensation & Benefits Base pay: $14.00 per hour, increasing to $15.00 after 6 months; overnight positions start at $15. Trainers earn $1 more per hour when training. Paid biweekly.
