Direct Support Professional Residential - Schenectady-Asleep Overnight Schenectady, NY 12308 Overview Salary Range: $18.75 - $24.30 Hourly Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Any Description Direct Support Professional: Residential - Schenectady-Asleep Overnight Pay Range: $18.75-$24.30/hr based on verifiable direct care experience (This range reflects 20 years of experience) Available Shift Sunday-Wednesday 10pm-8am Asleep overnight (Hours from 11pm-6am will be paid at the asleep rate. Requirements Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Successful candidates will: be positive and encouraging with those they support. be professional have patience and a positive attitude have a strong desire to help others enjoy teamwork What does a Direct Support Professional do in a residential setting? Help the people who live there by assisting them in activities, like: Cooking Teach people with disabilities how to do things on their own Job duties may include: Taking individuals to appointments and activities Writing notes as needed.
