General Service Technician / Mechanic (State Inspector)

$15.00–$20.00 per hour | Full-Time

Adams Automotive & NOW Auto Care are looking for a dependable, hardworking General Service Technician to join our Cypress team. If you're someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in quality work, and wants to be part of a shop that genuinely values its employees, we'd love to meet you.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technician looking to grow within a professional, high-volume independent repair facility.
What You'll Do
- Perform oil changes and scheduled maintenance
- Complete tire repairs, rotations, and replacements
- Perform brake inspections and light brake service
- Conduct vehicle inspections
- Perform suspension and steering component replacement
- Complete fluid services and preventative maintenance
- Perform Texas State Vehicle Inspections
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Communicate effectively with advisors and teammates
Requirements
- Current Texas State Inspector License (Required)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous automotive service experience preferred
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the day
Compensation
- $15.00–$20.00 per hour
