Senior Account Executive – B2B Healthcare and Public Affairs Team (New York, NY) DKC is seeking a Senior Account Executive with 3‑5 years of experience in healthcare, B2B or public affairs. The role involves working with a variety of clients—including healthcare organizations, medical entities, public policy groups and non‑profits—to develop and execute strategic communications programs that tell compelling stories through major media. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with national and local media outlets, connecting clients to high‑profile conferences, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams such as Sports, Public Affairs, Media Tech, Entertainment, Hospitality, Data/Analytics and our creative shop, HangarFour. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced environment, solve problems creatively, and support junior staff. About You Smart, energetic, and savvy professional with sophisticated media relations expertise. 3‑5 years’ experience in public relations and integrated communications in relevant sectors such as Healthcare, B2B, Public Affairs and Non‑Profit. Proven success in developing and executing strategic communications programs that center storytelling through major media. Deep relationships at national and local media outlets, with an understanding of podcasts and online platforms. Creative, analytical, and entrepreneurial mindset. Strong writing skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and ability to mentor junior staff. Motivation to network beyond the office and fosters new media and industry relationships while maintaining key media relationships. Passion for delivering outstanding client service with strategic counsel and hands‑on results. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $65,000–$80,000, depending on experience, responsibilities and business needs. 401(k) plan. Generous vacation and sick day policy.
