Supply Chain Management SpecialistLocation: Plano, TX Pay Rate: 36.20hrStaffmark Workforce Solutions offers this exciting contract opportunity with a global leader in electronics, mobile devices and appliances located in Plano, TX.Top Skills3-4 years of experience (entry level) – Supply chain, data analysis, and logistics operationsBachelor's degree in business or supply chainBilingual Korean requiredPosition DescriptionResponsibilities:Proceed PSI/SCP activities to ensure on-time, right-quantity allocation and delivery to customersThe Supply Chain Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring product availability to meet forecasted demand by account, receiving orders based on allocation, and delivering to customers on timeInput weekly AP2 forecast to maximize product allocation by each account and by site.Track weekly orders received by customers and process and manage customer orders to meet on-time deliveryOperate logistics order processes such as diversion and stock transferPublish daily/weekly operating report (PSI/SCP)Develop and maintain accurate short-term (6 months) demand forecasts for assigned product category (audio products), using historical data, market trends, and insights from cross-functional teamsManage and operate weekly demand forecast by SKU/site level and provide customer order commitment and update top-line forecast to secure short-term (6 months) supplyCollaborate with Product Management, Business Management, Sales, and Operations teams to understand new product launches, promotions, and other events impacting demand and adjust forecasts accordinglyMonitor inventory levels and develop strategies to balance inventory investment against service level targetsCoordinate with HQ to ensure optimal production scheduling and supplier management to meet demand requirementsMonitor sales order receiving and shipping process to secure monthly sales targetsProvide regular updates and recommendations to senior management on demand, inventory, and supply chain performanceAnalyze and publish weekly ATS/aging report to maximize monthly sales and minimize inventoryWeekly MPO /factory aging inventory managementMonitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress towards supply chain targetRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field3-4 years of experience (entry level) – Supply chain, data analysis, and logistics operations.Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets and advanced Excel functionsPreferred: Data visualization tool such as Tableau or Data tool such as Alteryx is a plusProficiency in ERP systems such as SAPBilingual Korean and English requiredGeneral knowledge of supply chain operations related to employee's specific area of work, and limited knowledge of overall supply chain operationsAbility to identify standard problems within the supply chain cycle and make a recommendation to change either methods or dates; may authorize standard changes to ensure customer satisfactionAbility to read, prepare, interpret, and understand information from various sales, purchase, and transfer ordersWorks on problems of limited and routine scope where limited analysis of data requires identification of predetermined solutionsAbility to orientate in a fast-paced environment in a timely manner and willingness to take initiativeStaffmark talent working with this client receive competitive compensation and a great benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K and Paid Time Off plus more!Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Paid Time Off, + more!About Us At Staffmark, we connect hardworking people with great companies, creating opportunities that make a lasting impact.
