The CNC Machinist Operator plays a critical role in producing precision parts through CNC machines in a batch production environment. Working within a small to medium-sized team and reporting directly to the Production Manager, this role focuses on efficient machine setup, program execution, and maintenance to ensure smooth production on the day shift using both manual and CAM programming methods.
Responsibilities
- Set up CNC machines for batch production runs
- Execute CNC programs following manual and CAM programming methods
- Handle raw materials and manage material flow to support machining process
- Calibrate machines to maintain production accuracy and quality
- Troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime
- Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal operation
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in CNC machining
- High school diploma or equivalent
