Job Category Payroll Employee Type Salary Contact information Phone View phone number on click.appcast.io Description The Payroll Manager works under the direction of the Payroll and HRIS Director to provide accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll processing for all Haven Health facilities. This position oversees the full payroll cycle, maintains employee payroll records, coordinates payroll-related changes, ensures compliance with established policies and procedures, and serves as a key resource for employees and leadership regarding payroll matters. Requirements Process full bi-weekly payroll for all Haven Health locations, ensuring payroll is accurate, timely, and compliant with applicable requirements. Review and process employee position, pay rate, and employment status changes. Process and verify employee start-date updates. Review and process manual payment requests. Manage direct deposit enrollments and changes. Process employee terminations and payroll system purges. Coordinate and process performance, new-hire, referral, and loyalty bonuses. Review and reconcile timecards prior to payroll processing, with the following sub-items: Time worked and missed punches Time-off requests PTO usage and accruals Tax changes Payroll deductions Payactiv transactions Process and verify biometric timekeeping adjustments. Prepare and maintain PTO accrual detail and related payroll records. Process ACH rejects and coordinate appropriate corrections and reprocessing. Manage scheduling access requests and related employee system access. Process password changes and access updates associated with terminations and applicants. Administer WOTC (Work Opportunity Tax Credit) payroll requirements, including reviewing payroll information, active rosters, and prior-month terminations. Maintain accurate payroll documentation, records, and employee data. Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner. Partner with Human Resources, Operations, and other departments to ensure payroll and employee information is accurate and up to date. Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation, payroll, and personal information. Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required 2 years bi-weekly payroll processing experience Experience reviewing and reconciling timecards, PTO, deductions, tax changes, and other payroll adjustments Strong attention to detail and accuracy Valid Background Check / Fingerprint Clearance Card and Employee Health Screening Preferred Experience Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field Payroll experience with full-cycle payroll processing preferred Payroll experience in a healthcare, skilled nursing, or multi-location preferred UKG Pro Workforce Management, with Kronos Workforce Dimensions, HRIS experience Summary Haven Health is the largest rural healthcare provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation throughout Arizona.
