The facility operates 4 Interventional Radiology rooms and provides robust departmental support including charge and lead staff, management, transporter services, stock personnel, phlebotomy, respiratory therapy, hospitalists, radiologists, radiology PAs, and NPs. Job Details Start date: 07/13/2026 Duration: 12 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week, 10‑hour shifts, days Shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with a rotating day off each week; 1 weekend of call every 4th weekend (Saturday 6:00 AM–Monday 6:00 AM) and full week of call every 4th week with one weekday off for either neuro or body cases. Case volume: 25‑45 cases per day, including general IR and Neuro IR procedures such as kyphos/vertebroplasties, G/GJ tube placement/exchange, nephrostomy tubes/nephroureteral stents, IVC filters, temporary and tunneled dialysis catheters, Y90/TIPs, chemo/coils, ports, and stroke patients. Patient population includes adults and pediatrics, with ~10% pediatric cases. Call schedule: 8‑week increments on a modified self‑schedule; 1 weekend of call every 4th weekend; full week of call every 4th week; 1 shift of orientation in second week; no floating to other units. Response time: 30 minutes for strokes, 45 minutes for traumas; no sleep room available for call; 1 holiday of call required per contract; weekend rotation is call only. Shared ancillary call shifts (~3 per 8‑week schedule) as a 3rd on‑call team member for strokes or unstable trauma patients. Call team consists of 1 tech and 1 RN; 3‑person team for stroke and trauma cases. Responsibilities Perform a high volume of general and neuro interventional procedures. Participate in call rotations and respond to stroke/trauma calls within specified timeframes. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols. Use EPIC EMR and operate unit‑specific equipment including Inari, Penumbra, IVUS, EKOS, and Angiojet. Maintain required certifications and continuing education. Requirements Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience. Neuro IR experience required. Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, IEMA. EPIC EMR experience required.
