The Inclusion & Belonging Manager serves as a strategic advisor, thought partner, and subject matter expert responsible for advancing Equinix's vision of Belonging for All through enterprise-wide inclusion, belonging, culture, and employee experience initiatives. As a senior member of the Community & Belonging (C&B) team, this role partners across The People Team (TPT), Functional Partner Teams (FPTs), Centers of Excellence (COEs), business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to shape strategies, influence organizational practices, and embed inclusion and belonging throughout the employee lifecycle. The Inclusion & Belonging Expert applies deep expertise in organizational culture, employee experience, inclusion, and belonging to identify opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and drive sustainable change. This role independently leads high-impact initiatives, provides strategic consultation to leaders and stakeholders, leverages workforce insights and data to inform decision-making, and develops scalable solutions that strengthen employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, talent outcomes, and organizational performance. Through collaboration, influence, and thought leadership, the Inclusion & Belonging Expert helps cultivate a culture where all employees feel valued, connected, empowered to contribute, and able to thrive. Responsibilities Lead the development, execution, and continuous evolution of inclusion and belonging strategies aligned with Equinix's organizational priorities, values, culture aspirations, and business objectives. Identify emerging trends, organizational needs, and workforce insights to inform strategic priorities and recommendations. Translate enterprise inclusion and belonging priorities into scalable programs, solutions, and initiatives that drive measurable impact. Develop business cases and recommendations using qualitative and quantitative data to advance inclusion, belonging, and employee experience outcomes. Serve as a trusted advisor on strategies that enhance culture, engagement, talent effectiveness, and organizational performance. Balance enterprise consistency with flexibility to address regional, functional, and local business needs. Business Enablement & People Team Partnership Consult with Functional Partner Teams, COEs, and business leaders to integrate inclusion and belonging principles into talent strategies, leadership practices, workforce initiatives, and employee experiences. Provide expert guidance on how organizational decisions, policies, and talent processes may impact employee experience, engagement, and belonging. Influence the design and implementation of People Team priorities, including leadership development, organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee experience, and workforce transformation initiatives. Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend practical, data-informed solutions. Lead complex cross-functional initiatives that require alignment across multiple stakeholder groups. Simplify and operationalize Community & Belonging offerings through tools, frameworks, resources, and scalable solutions. Culture Building & Employee Experience Design and lead enterprise-wide programs that strengthen belonging, trust, psychological safety, inclusion, and employee connection. Apply inclusion and belonging expertise to identify systemic barriers and opportunities that impact employee experience and organizational culture. Partner with leaders to assess and improve practices that influence engagement, team effectiveness, and employee outcomes. Facilitate strategic conversations that build awareness, capability, accountability, and commitment to inclusive leadership and behaviors. Develop solutions that strengthen employee voice, foster meaningful connection, and create a more inclusive workplace experience. Serve as a recognized resource and consultant for leaders and stakeholders navigating culture and belonging-related challenges. Employee Networks & Community Engagement Provide strategic leadership, governance, and guidance for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), We Are Equinix (WRE) networks, and employee communities. Consult with executive sponsors and employee network leaders to align community efforts with organizational priorities and belonging objectives. Develop frameworks and measures that assess the effectiveness, impact, and value of employee communities. Strengthen collaboration across employee networks to build community, engagement, and organizational impact. Lead initiatives that connect employee communities with talent, culture, business, and social impact priorities. Foster meaningful internal and external partnerships that support belonging and community engagement objectives. Inclusive Practices Champion the integration of inclusive practices across employee experiences, talent processes, organizational systems, and workplace initiatives. Partner with stakeholders across People, Legal, IT, Facilities, Communications, and other functions to improve organizational accessibility, inclusion, and employee experience. Assess policies, programs, and practices through an inclusion and belonging lens and recommend enhancements that remove barriers and improve outcomes. Provide guidance and consultation on complex employee experience and inclusion-related considerations. Exercise sound judgment in identifying risks, opportunities, and issues requiring escalation or specialized expertise. Data, Insights & Continuous Improvement Analyze employee experience, engagement, inclusion, talent, and organizational effectiveness data to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities. Translate complex findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for leaders and stakeholders. Leverage employee listening strategies, diagnostics, feedback mechanisms, and workforce analytics to inform priorities and solutions. Monitor key metrics and outcomes to assess program effectiveness and organizational impact. Develop reporting, dashboards, and executive-level insights that support informed decision-making. Foster a culture of continuous improvement through evidence-based practices and measurable outcomes. Stakeholder Partnership & Influence Build trusted relationships with leaders, People Team partners, and stakeholders across the organization. Influence decision-making and drive adoption of inclusive practices through consultation, expertise, and strategic partnership. Facilitate alignment among diverse stakeholder groups with competing priorities and perspectives. Lead strategic discussions that identify business needs, organizational challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Adapt engagement and communication strategies for executive, leadership, and employee audiences. Build commitment and accountability around belonging, employee experience, and culture priorities. Independently assess employee, organizational, and reputational considerations related to inclusion, belonging, and employee experience initiatives. Apply sound judgment when evaluating complex issues and determining appropriate action plans. Partner with appropriate stakeholders to mitigate risks and address organizational concerns. Escalate matters requiring executive attention or specialized expertise. Ensure initiatives align with organizational values, policies, governance requirements, and business objectives.
