Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary

A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support domestic and international freight movement, warehouse coordination, shipment tracking, and delivery execution. The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with warehouse teams, carriers, delivery drivers, and internal departments to keep inbound and outbound shipments accurate, timely, and well-communicated. This role offers the opportunity to become a key part of an expanding operation with positive teamwork, supportive leadership, and room for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage domestic and international freight shipments, including LTL, last mile delivery, drayage, and small parcel shipments.
- Coordinate daily with warehouse locations to ensure accurate inbound and outbound logistics activity.
- Create shipping labels through FedEx, UPS, and USPS, and coordinate parcel drop-offs as needed.
- Track shipments and communicate updates to internal teams, customers, carriers, and other stakeholders.
- Communicate proactively with delivery drivers to help ensure shipments are delivered correctly and on time.
- Support special projects and assist various departments with logistics and operations needs.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience required.
- Experience in operations, logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel.
- Experience with spreadsheet design and database navigation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent follow-up.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build productive relationships with business partners.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with inventory management systems or warehouse management systems.
- Prior experience coordinating carrier communication, warehouse activity, or freight shipments.
- Experience supporting domestic and international logistics operations.
