In this role, you will be pivotal in enhancing our product development process through sophisticated test automation frameworks and comprehensive testing strategies using Python.Responsibilities:Python Test Automation Framework Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust test automation frameworks in Python to streamline and enhance our software testing processes.Automated Test Development: Collaborate closely with the software development team to create, maintain, and execute automated tests in Python, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.End-to-End Involvement: Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation to ensure seamless integration of test automation.Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing methodologies, tools, and processes, staying current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.Quality Assurance: Ensure that our software meets all regulatory and quality standards through meticulous testing and validation efforts.Performs other duties as required.Education And Experience:Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience: 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, SDET in software test automation with a strong emphasis on Python development. Experience in developing test frameworks and automated tests in Python.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Selenium with Python). Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git).Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in your work.Preferred Skills And Competencies:Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOPS) and Design PatternsExperience in building libs, CI and Code coverageExperience working closely with development and test teams.Knowledge of built in-external librariesKnowledge of GitExposure to Agile environmentMedical Device or other regulated industry experience is a plus.Physical Requirements (If Applicable):NoneNOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements and requires on-site work from an Insulet office.Compensation & Benefits:For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $128,000.00 - $191,975.00. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
