Key Responsibilities: As a Hygienist, you will provide direct dental care and related services to patients under the general supervision of a dentist, while also supporting office operations. * Deliver compassionate and high-quality care to every patient. * Perform direct patient care tasks, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealant and fluoride applications, and other related procedures under dentist supervision. * Provide excellent customer service by identifying opportunities for Same Day Care. * Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices. * Evaluate patients' dental conditions and review their medical histories. * Adhere to all government regulations and organizational standards. * Guide patients and their families through the entire treatment process. * Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed. * Take x-rays and ensure they are saved in patient records when necessary. * Create memorable experiences for patients by demonstrating compassion and care. Qualifications: * Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing. * CPR (BLS) certification from the ARC or AHA, including a hands-on skills assessment (required upon hire).
