Job Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant provides personal care and assistance with daily living activities to clients in their homes under the supervision of licensed or administrative staff. The CNA is a key member of the caregiving team, ensuring clients maintain dignity, safety, and well-being while receiving non-medical support. Key Responsibilities Follow CareBuilders at Home policies and procedures Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal assistance Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation Monitor and document changes in client conditions Document care provided and observations accurately using electronic systems Uphold residents’ rights and ensure their privacy and dignity in all interactions Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy client environment by following universal standards and precautions Qualifications / Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent CNA certification Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation Must be able to physically perform the functions of the position (bending, stooping, using hands) Communication skills and carry out instructions Must be able to read, write, and understand English Must pass a background check and TB screening Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
