Job Overview Under general supervision, maintains a safe and secure environment for hospital patients, visitors and employees. May be required to provide assistance in patient restraints for adolescents, young, middle and older adults, following directions of the nurse in charge. Responsibilities Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and employees. Assist in patient restraints under guidance of nurse in charge. Required Qualifications Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. California Security Guard Registration upon hire. Preferred Qualifications Recent Public Safety (Security) or Military experience if honorably discharged.
