Through strong interdisciplinary communication and cooperation, the Physical Therapist will assist in progression of mobility-related tasks to facilitate a comprehensive return to function for a variety of patients. Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing top quality and safe healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities since 1917.

Aiken Regional Medical Centers has been ranked a top hospital in South Carolina by the American Heart Association for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure and Stroke, and most recently, coronary artery disease. Additionally, Aiken Regional provides comprehensive healthcare services such as behavioral health, emergency medical care, orthopedic surgeries, maternity, rehabilitation services, imaging, and wound care.

Position Description: To provide Physical Therapy services (evaluation, treatment plan development, treatment, delegation of treatment, family training, and discharge planning) to patients in a hospital-based inpatient rehab setting in accordance with facility policy, standards, and philosophy. The Therapist will be expected to meet documentation standards accurately, timely, and appropriately. Physical Therapists will enjoy almost exclusively 1-on-1 treatments in a supportive and collaborative atmosphere where the primary focus is on patient improvement. They will work closely with other staff toward seeing patients return home (which over 90% of them do).

Qualifications Position Requirements: Degree from an accredited program of Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate). Prefer 1 year experience in an acute/inpatient setting; but not required. Current SC license and BLS certification. Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessments given by the facility
