Quality Inspector (1st shift)

Role Details

• Pay Rate: $23.00/hr (Temp rate; potential increase upon permanent hire)

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Type: W2 under -staffing supplier, 3- month Temp-to-Permanent (based on performance review)

  Location: 100% in Orange, CT 06477

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

• 2–4 years of Quality Inspection experience, preferably in a small production environment

• Proficiency in reading blueprints, specifications, and using basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometers); experience with Visual Measuring Systems is a plus

• Strong attention to detail, consistency, and adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP)

Key Responsibilities

• Product Inspection: Inspect manufactured parts, in-process production, and incoming raw materials against blueprint specifications, form/fit/function, and workmanship standards.

• Documentation & ERP: Review material certifications, issue DMR/NCMR reports in ERP for non-conformances, release final product packages for shipment, and maintain orderly QA server files.

• Workflow Support: Ensure timely movement of parts through inspection to meet customer delivery dates, and assist the Lead Inspector and QA Manager.
