As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Using a computer or tablet as needed, you will support a welcoming, organized environment while collaborating with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and committed to acting with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.23 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; report observations and follow site-specific escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of logistics and distribution facilities, warehouses, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify credentials as directed, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity in accordance with site requirements. Maintain accurate activity reports and communicate security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as appropriate. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
