Field Resource Safety Specialists

Job Title

Mileage will be reimbursed and no overnight travel is expected

Key Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of distribution line work
• Identify unsafe work behaviors
• Knowledge about primary and secondary grounding
• Knowledge about cover-up
• Knowledge about MADD
• Knowledge about personal protective equipment
• Field observations; extra set of eyes, identify training needs, communicate with the crews, safety specialist, and crew supervisor
• Ability to foster a working relationship with crew members and build trust
• Utilize their experience as to why it's important to follow the rules and why
• Talk about the accidents they know about that alter an employee's life, their family member, teammate etc
