Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- You will conduct thorough clinical assessments for new clients, gathering comprehensive personal and medical histories and evaluating mental health status in order to develop tailored treatment plans. \n
- Utilizing your proficiency in therapeutic methodologies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), you will deliver customized interventions to address the unique needs and goals of each client. \n
- Timely and accurate documentation is vital; you will maintain clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring the highest standard of confidentiality and care. \n
- Collaborative efforts are key; you will actively participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, sharing insights and strategies to effectively coordinate care for clients. \n
- Your role will involve educating clients and their families on treatment options and resources available in the community, empowering them to make informed choices about their mental health journey. \n
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in mental health care, actively integrating this knowledge into your clinical practice to enhance service quality. \n
The primary focus of this position is to support clients within a detox center setting, who may be experiencing co-occurring disorders or significant psychological distress. You will work closely with individuals navigating challenges related to substance use and mental health, offering compassionate care to facilitate recovery and resilience.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required. \n
- A current and valid license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington. \n
- Minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health or addiction setting. \n
- Expertise in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing personalized treatment plans accordingly. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with diverse populations. \n
- A solid commitment to cultural competence and ethical practice, contributing to a diverse and inclusive therapeutic environment. \n
