Resident Care Manager (LVN) - Sign on Bonus!

The Resident Care Manager performs resident health assessments; provides training/oversight to staff for medication supervision, monitors the status of resident general conditions, as allowed by regulation; coordinates resident care with third-party providers such as physicians and home health agencies and companion services in conjunction with the family.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:Provides care following established nursing service objectives and standardsEnsures that all safety and infection control practices are followedDistributes and documents medications (including narcotics) according to established standards and regulationsResponds to emergency situationsEnsures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standardsCommunicates with resident and families regarding treatment and careAttends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as requiredPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications & Physical Requirements:Provides care following established nursing service objectives and standardsEnsures that all safety and infection control practices are followedDistributes and documents medications (including narcotics) according to established standards and regulationsResponds to emergency situationsEnsures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standardsCommunicates with resident and families regarding treatment and careAttends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as requiredPerforms other duties as assignedEducation & Experience:Diploma in Nursing at a minimumCurrent nursing (RN/LPN/LVN) licensure issued by appropriate state licensing agencyTwo years of relevant experience requiredAt least one certification from an accredited organization (or is actively pursuing certification)This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the employee in this position.
