Equipment SalesJob Summary

Core Group Resources is hiring an experienced New Equipment Sales Representative to drive sales of commercial and industrial boiler and thermal system solutions. You'll work directly with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, facility owners, developers, and government agencies to understand project requirements, then help them select, size, specify, and buy the right equipment.

This role suits a technical salesperson with a background in boilers, burners, steam, hydronic heating, or related mechanical equipment who can grow existing accounts while building new business. The position offers a competitive base salary plus commission, medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and long-term disability insurance, paid vacation and sick time, and car mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, facility owners, developers, and government agencies.
• Sell new commercial and industrial boilers and related thermal equipment, including burners, fuel systems, controls, water treatment equipment, pumps, and other boiler-room equipment.
• Help customers with equipment selection, sizing, specifications, and applications for heating, domestic hot water, and process steam.
• Review project plans, specifications, and bid opportunities.
• Prepare equipment selections, proposals, pricing, and technical information.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, engineers, contractors, and customers throughout the sales process.
• Track opportunities from specification and design through bidding, award, and delivery.
• Develop new business while growing existing customer relationships.

Requirements

• Commercial or industrial equipment sales experience.
• Knowledge of boiler systems, process steam, combustion, heating systems, or related mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical plans, specifications, and equipment requirements.
• Strong technical sales, business development, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple customers and active opportunities.

Preferred Requirements

• Boiler, burner, steam, HVAC, hydronic, or mechanical equipment sales experience. This is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with consulting engineers and mechanical contractors.
