Location: Houston, TX - Hybrid

Pay Rate: Starting at $66.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Work Arrangement: Primarily remote with periodic on-site requirements

Dean's Professional Services is seeking an experienced Applications Analyst to support a leading healthcare organization in Houston, TX . This is an excellent opportunity for an Oracle Fusion HCM professional with strong reporting and analytics expertise who can translate workforce management requirements into effective technical reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support Oracle Fusion HCM Workforce Management reporting solutions for a large-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation.

   

• Design and develop OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) reports, BI Publisher (BIP) formatted reports, and Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) dashboards.

   

• Build reporting solutions across HCM subject areas, including:
  • Core HR

     

  • Absence Management

     

  • Talent

     

  • Recruiting and Onboarding

     

  • Benefits

     

  • Payroll

     

   

• Partner with HR functional teams to assess reporting needs and translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

   

• Develop HCM reporting and executive dashboards to support workforce analytics and decision-making.

   

• Create and validate reports, dashboards, data models, calculations, parameters, and related reporting components.

   

• Support SIT/UAT testing and post-go-live stabilization activities.

   

• Analyze and troubleshoot reporting issues and data discrepancies.

   

• Support reporting throughout the full lifecycle of an Oracle Fusion HCM implementation.

   

• Apply knowledge of workforce management, payroll processing, time calculations, overtime, shift differentials, and compliance reporting.

   

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

   

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM Workforce Management modules.

   

• Understanding of payroll processing and time calculation rules .

   

• Experience supporting reporting during full-lifecycle implementations.

   

• Experience in healthcare or shift-based workforce environments preferred .

   

• Knowledge of overtime, shift differentials, and compliance reporting.

   

• Knowledge of HCM analytics, KPIs, and dashboard metrics .

   

• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • OTBI

     

  • Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) , including data models and bursting

     

  • Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) , including platform knowledge, workbook creation, calculations, and parameters

     

  • SQL

     

   

• Understanding of Fusion HCM Workforce Management subject areas and data structures.

   

• Knowledge of Fast Formulas , particularly for payroll, absence, and benefits.

   

• In-depth knowledge of HR and Payroll processes .

   

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

   

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with functional and technical teams.
