Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technician position available in Billings, Montana. This role involves assembling, cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and storing procedure trays, surgical trays, and medical equipment. The candidate will also operate sterilization equipment, ensure proper records maintenance, and support the supply needs of various hospital departments. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent; no minimum years of experience specified; must be able to work in Montana; ability to read, write, and speak English fluently; experience and understanding in the use of computers, as well as the ability to learn software relevant to Sterile Processing; ability to function in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
• Additional Information: The position involves assembling, cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and storing procedure trays. Responsibilities include operating sterilization equipment, following universal precautions, maintaining accurate records, and communicating inventory status. Approximately 40 hours per week, with potential overtime, floating to other departments, or on-call requirements based on business needs.
