The Surgical Services team is seeking a highly skilled Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) with specific experience in liver transplants and other complex surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will be able to scrub liver recipient transplants independently, with a proven track record of recent transplantation experience—specifically, last scrubbed liver transplant at a reputable facility. Responsibilities include supporting large open belly cases such as General, Urology, Thoracic, Gynecology, Plastics, Whipple, Liver Resection, and Free Flap surgeries. The candidate must be proficient in aseptic technique, handling specialized equipment like the DaVinci XI, and capable of managing a high-volume surgical environment with an average of 35 cases per day across 22 rooms. The position requires a commitment of 40-60 hours of call over a 6-week schedule, with flexible availability for holidays. Certifications needed include BCLS and NBSTSA. Experience with transplant surgeries is mandatory; candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant operating room experience.
