Med Tech 11p-7a Full Time alternating weekends

Position Overview Work hours: 11p-7a alternating weekends (Full Time). The Med Tech provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse. Responsibilities include assisting patients with activities of daily living, personal care, comfort, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for a group of residents, and administering medications. Primary Responsibilities Administer medications to residents in a safe, accurate, and timely manner. Provide physical and psychosocial care to all residents, promoting dignity, choice, and individuality. Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents. Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures. Provide post‑mortem care. Perform morning and evening care routines such as bed baths, oral hygiene, skin care, and other general care as needed. Qualifications & Experience Satisfactory completion of medication technician skills competency checklist. Obtain required medication technician training certificate. Experience working in Assisted Living preferred. Must read, write, and speak English. Understand and practice universal precautions with all patients. Complete all tasks/procedures included in the assignment or report to the charge nurse if any tasks are not completed. Be a certified nursing assistant or enrolled in a nurse aide training program.
