Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.64 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or first responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with wayfinding and general information, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
• Support hospital staff during security-related calls for service, document incidents and observations, and maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptions within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
