Job Title: Neuro/PCU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years License: South Carolina license or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Telemetry competency required Description: This position requires a Neuro/PCU Registered Nurse. Candidates will work nights from 7 PM to 7 AM. Ratios for patient care will be 1:4-5. Every other weekend is required. Floating within the scope to meet facility needs will be necessary. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are not accepted. The RN must have certifications in BLS and ACLS. Previous telemetry experience is essential. Knowledge of tele health practices is expected. The facility allows for the possibility of calling off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Approval for time off must be included at the time of submission. No additional PTO will be approved after accepting the assignment. Travelers should be aware that they may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
