Position Information Position/Rank: Clinical Hematologist Department: 00847 - Hematology City: Salt Lake City, UT Track: Track Dependent on Qualifications New Position to Begin: When filled Division Overview The Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies at the University of Utah’s Huntsman Cancer Institute seeks to recruit clinical faculty, rank dependent upon qualifications. The division currently has 36 full‑time faculty members engaged in several subspecialties and has a broad spectrum of clinical, translational, and basic research in Hematology. Huntsman Cancer Institute, a National Cancer Institute‑designated Cancer Center, provides a state‑of‑the‑art research environment with world‑class transgenic facilities, genome‑wide scanning technologies, and drug development platforms. The scientific environment is vibrant and highly collaborative, with clinical facilities in close proximity to laboratories in the Huntsman Cancer Institute. The mission of the Division is to provide state‑of‑the‑art diagnostics and treatment for patients with hematologic cancer in an environment of compassionate care. Minimum Qualifications M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification in Internal Medicine and BC/BE in Hematology. Possessing or being eligible for a Utah Medical License.
