Outside Sales Professional

Job Overview Pest Control Consultant at Rentokil – sell industry‑leading pest management services and products to new and existing residential customers while maintaining a customer‑focused service to grow the business. You’ll represent the national brand in your local community and be the frontline for protecting homes and families. Responsibilities Visually inspect homes for pests, harborage, entries, and other infestations. Assess customers' needs and develop tailored pest control solutions. Sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance to residential customers. Collaborate with the Customer Service Center, Inside Sales department, and Technicians to increase opportunities. Partner with the Branch Manager to identify revenue streams within the current customer base and service specialist engagement. Develop proposals for customers that resolve existing issues and propose enhancements to pest household services. Complete Home diagram using Sales CRM for clear understanding of customer home and possible challenges. Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities. Provide expert knowledge during new service installations to ensure satisfactory completion. Complete daily activities and capture sales performance using the company sales CRM. Physical Demands & Essential Functions Lift up to 10 lbs. regularly and 11–20 lbs. frequently. Move around frequently – sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, using stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles. Maintain balance on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces. Work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, and passageways; perform work in small spaces such as basements, crawl spaces, and attics. Operate a motor vehicle safely and keep equipment clean. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator when required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license from your current state of residence. Strong social, customer service, and communication skills. Prefer at least 1–2 years of pest technician or sales experience.
