Description:
Contract position for an RN in the Cath Lab.
This role is for a duration of 13 weeks with 8-hour shifts.
Standard hours are from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on operational needs.
Call is required as part of the role.
Two RN's and two CV techs are assigned per case during the day shift unless anesthesia or non-invasive procedures are performed.
The unit has three operating cath lab rooms, of which two are EP compatible.
Typical procedures include catheterizations, PCI, EP for a-fib, Watchmen procedures, TAVR, INARI, and device placements such as PPM and ICD.
Candidates must be team-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
The preferred candidates will possess RCIS or Cardiovascular Nurse certification.
The unit has achieved great outcomes with low mortality rates in PCI procedures.
