Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using both standardized assessments and observational practices.
• Create individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver focused speech therapy sessions targeting various areas, including communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing difficulties.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members to devise comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and their families to extend progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Facilitate occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy interventions to ensure seamless continuity of care across the treatment pathway.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
• Engage in continued professional development to stay abreast of advancements within the field.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), pending ASHA certification.

Certifications

• A valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be achieved within 30 days of hire.
