Seeking an energetic Leasing Manager who possesses the ability to effectively oversee and promote the Leasing Department by increasing staff expertise, collaborating with other property management team members and motivating and supervising 3-4 employees. This position oversees the entire leasing process from initial prospect communication to the move out of current residents. We desire an individual who understands and appreciates the dynamic role that the Leasing Department plays in fulfilling our fiduciary responsibility to our clients, and someone who will foster the importance of the housing experience we strive to provide to our residents.

Overview:

• Coordinating and spearheading weekly meetings, agent training and collaboration with property managers and owners to ensure successful marketing and financial security for our clients.
• Coordination of all documents and processes for applications, lease agreements, renewals, move ins, move outs, as well as general resident leasing communication.
• Processing market surveys and competitor shopping.
• Resident retention, reviewing traffic statistics, agent communications, and analyzing survey results.
• Ensuring leads are answered timely, professionally and accurately.
• Planning, preparing and executing all marketing events/materials including resident events, housing fairs, flyers, videos, photos and promotional materials.
• Ensuring the Leasing office and areas open to the public are kept clean and organized.
• Comply with all Fair Housing regulations and other laws as they relate to property specific guidelines and occupancy standards.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of prior Leasing/Marketing/Management experience is required.
• Familiarity of Lease Agreements.
• Knowledge of VRLTA and Fair Housing regulations is required.
• Strong organizational and computer skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to conduct walking tours/navigate stairs.
• Valid driver’s license.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Weekends as needed
