Job Description
TITLE: Operating Room Registered Nurse - OR RN

SCHEDULE:
- Ratios: 1:1 (days/nights/weekends all listed as 1)
- Weekends: Scheduled; up to every weekend possible but may be every other weekend
- On-call: Yes - up to 5 call shifts/month (may include weekends)

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
- Number of rooms: 13
- Typical volume: ~45 visits per day

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum years of RN experience: 1 year
- Valid RN license (Washington or compact) required at time of submission
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CNOR
- Charting system experience: Epic

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting for a variety of surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and care.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout the surgical process.
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately as per facility policy.
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative education for patients and families.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES:
- Compliance documents due: Monday prior to start
- Request time off (RTO) must be listed at submission
- Locals accepted within a 50-mile radius at a lower rate
- Maximum one job per submittal
