Specimen Processing - Pre-Analytical Assistant I - 1st Shift

Pride Health is hiring a Specimen Processing - Pre-Analytical Assistant I - 1st Shift to support our client's medical facility based in Lenexa KS 66219. This is a 4+ month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Lenexa KS 66219

Duration: 4+ months + Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM. CST

Pay rate: $18/hr. on W2/Pay rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimen
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
• Troubleshoot any specimen related issue
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standard

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
