Job Description & Requirements Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Operating Room (OR) for a travel nursing assignment in Lawton, Oklahoma. Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Total Weekly Hours: 36 hours Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Summary This assignment is 13.14 weeks, scheduled to start May 11, 2026. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program with current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication skills. Attentive to details. Thorough knowledge of sterile technique. Commitment to the team concept. Strong commitment to task. Responsibilities Delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operating room and perioperative services. Meet surgical standards of nursing practice. Maintain skills in setting priorities, organizing workload, handling changes in assignment, and integrating multiple assignments. Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel. Develop and implement total nursing care, assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans. Participate and implement age-specific care and interaction. Collaborate with healthcare team in patient/family assessment. Perform and reassess head-to-toe assessments on all patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric. Assess and manage pain appropriately.
