Then come and join our global team as an Embedded Software Engineering Co-op. This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience. As an Embedded Software Engineering Co-op, you will be responsible for: May be involved in all aspects of embedded systems development, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing and documentation of the motion control and detector subsystems for molecular imaging cameras. Includes safety critical motions, and mitigations to prevent accidents across multiple axes of motion Will be expected to write and test embedded software, execute written test procedures, document results, and to recognize/isolate system anomalies. Tasks include writing code (C/C++) for embedded systems, troubleshooting, testing, and documentation of results. Coop will work with firmware and electrical engineers for the motion control and detector subsystems, and assist with development and test. Provide support for system host emulator, as well as assist in the loading of software in the lab. Coop will also help address issues arising from the Defect Handling Board, and may be asked to help out with certain administrative tasks. This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to develop your skills with Healthineers: Programming languages C/C++/Python Agile development processes Hands-on work with electronic circuitry, cabling, etc. Duration: Typically includes one term off from class plus summer (i.e. January-August or May-December), or a longer-term co-op assignment that can include rotations in school and at work, with some flexibility in scheduling specifics. Flexibility to start based on your availability in conjunction with your academic calendar. The base pay range for this position is: $54,912 - $80,538 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
