Onboarding Coordinator

EHC is currently looking for an Onboarding Coordinator for a client in the south Houston, TX area. Summary The Onboarding Coordinator provides administrative support throughout the pre-employment and new-hire onboarding process. This role is responsible for coordinating pre-employment requirements, maintaining accurate onboarding documentation, completing employment eligibility processes, and ensuring new hires are cleared and prepared for their first day. Responsibilities Coordinates pre-employment requirements for new hires, including background checks and drug screenings. Reviews background check and drug screening statuses and follows up on outstanding requirements as needed. Completes Forms I-9, reviews employment eligibility documentation, and processes E-Verify cases. Reviews new-hire onboarding documentation for accuracy and completeness. Assists new hires with completing required onboarding forms and documentation. Maintains accurate I-9, E-Verify, pre-employment, and onboarding records in accordance with company procedures. Prepares and maintains new-employee files and ensures required documentation is properly filed. Enters and updates new-hire information within the HRIS and other applicable systems. Communicates with recruiters, hiring managers, candidates, and other internal teams regarding onboarding status and outstanding requirements. Scans, files, emails, and maintains employment-related documentation. Provides general administrative support related to onboarding and new-hire processing. Performs other related duties as assigned. Skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple new hires and onboarding processes simultaneously. Ability to handle confidential employee information appropriately. Strong follow-up skills and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS or onboarding systems. Basic understanding of Form I-9, E-Verify, background screening, and other pre-employment processes preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
