Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Renal Medical/Surgical – Georgia

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend coverage; patient ratio 1:5-6 on days, nights, and weekends; average daily census of 48 patients in a 49-bed unit; flexible floating within facility and scope of practice as needed; no call requirements

• Epic charting system required (alongside Pyxis and SBAR)
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, lift teams, rapid response teams, and more
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; holiday work expectations apply based on assignment dates
• Full orientation with specialty-specific modules; non-billable orientation hours determined by contract length

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state license accepted)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; experience with 1:6 patient ratios preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Competency in skills including telemetry, IV management, wound care, insulin administration, renal care, pre/post hemodialysis management, central and PICC line care, isolation precautions, and medical/surgical nursing
• Full compliance documentation due by Tuesday prior to start date; core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
