Base pay range $90.00/hr - $100.00/hr Job Title ServiceNow Architect (Hands-On Experience) Location Charlotte, NC / Dallas, TX / North Brunswick, NJ - 3 days/Week onsite Contract Duration 12+ months Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Architect with a minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience, specializing in CMDB and core ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in custom development, integrations, automation, and platform tooling while providing innovative solutions to complex ServiceNow implementations. Key Responsibilities: CMDB Management: Oversee the design, development, and optimization of the CMDB framework, ensuring accurate service relationships and dependencies. Discovery & Integration: Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery , MID Servers, and integrations with external systems. Service Mapping: Implement and enhance Service Mapping strategies to provide visibility into business services and dependencies. Custom Development: Develop ServiceNow core modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM) including scripting, business rules, workflows, and UI components. Service Catalog Management: Hands-on experience with Service Catalog development and customization, including complex workflows. Solution Design: Architect and implement scalable solutions to address complex ServiceNow challenges, including automation for large-scale data management . Performance Optimization: Work with large datasets, optimize platform performance, and automate service log analysis for issue detection. Technical Expertise: Custom Development & Platform Tooling: Deep understanding of custom scripts, automation, and UI Builder . Discovery & Service Mapping: Strong experience with ServiceNow Discovery, MID Servers, and Service Mapping configurations . Integrations: Experience integrating ServiceNow with external tools using REST, SOAP APIs, and Web Services . Data Management: Solid understanding of CI Classes, CI Relationships, CMDB Health, Normalization, and Data Reconciliation . ITSM/ITIL Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL best practices related to Configuration, Change, and Incident Management . SAM, HAM, HRSD Relationship: Understanding of Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and HR Service Delivery (HRSD) relationships within ServiceNow. Reporting & Dashboards: Ability to create CMDB reports, dashboards, and data analytics for tracking compliance and trends. Automation & AI Integration: Expertise in implementing automation solutions for large datasets, Service Catalog Importers, and log analysis . Preferred Qualifications: Certified ServiceNow Architect or Developer (CIS, CSA, CAD, or equivalent). Experience in large-scale ServiceNow implementations with millions of records. Strong problem-solving and solution design skills, especially in complex Service Catalog implementations. Ability to work in Agile environments and collaborate across teams.
