Schedule

4x10 shifts from 07:3018:00.

Assignment Details

Average daily case volume of approximately 15 cases. Orientation is 30 hours.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of electrophysiology lab experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required; CCI RCES and CCI RCIS certifications preferred.
• Experience with arrhythmia recognition and management, cardiac mapping, ablation procedures, and device procedures including pacemaker and ICD insertion.
• Comfortable providing conscious sedation during procedures.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in electrophysiology procedures including VT, PVI, CV, A-Flutter, AV node ablations, and ICD/pacemaker placements.
• Perform lead extractions, including laser lead extraction and LAA closure procedures.
• Maintain sterile environment and assist with equipment setup.
• Monitor and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Act as circulator or scrub for procedures, ensuring patient safety and equipment readiness.

Compliance / Notes

RTO is not permitted after booking; must work 2 of 3 major holidays. Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved with pre-approval required for all requests.
