Assistant Branch Manager

Bank Teller PositionThis position is responsible for branch duties including, but not limited to, teller, assist in reconciling errors or discrepancies, opening deposit accounts, cross-selling other bank products, handling customer inquiries and issues. This position functions relatively independently with general supervision by the Branch ManagerMajor Duties and Accountabilities:Takes part in and embraces the Legacy culture by providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.This person is the leader in instilling and maintaining a strong, customer-focused, and sales-oriented culture in their branch location and is knowledgeable about all bank products with emphasis on DDA, consumer online banking, and mobile banking products/services.Works/balances a teller drawer.Anticipates demand and ordering cash for branch.Completes day-to-day processes and procedures for: Vault, ATM, Coin Machine, Recycler and Debit Card Machine.Trains new employees on the policies and procedures of the teller function.Opens DDA and other deposit accounts for bank customers when necessary.Responsible for maintaining proper retention procedures of all teller documents/logs.Assists in making sure branch is prepared for quarterly audits by knowing procedures and making sure they are being followed.Assumes the duties of the Branch Manager in their absence.Assists Branch Manager in monthly audits of location.Any other duty as assigned.Requirements:18 years of age.High school diploma or GED equivalent.1 year banking experience.Preferred:College/Technical degree.3 years cash handling experience.
