Accounting Clerk: *PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS ONSITE*

Summary:

Morgan & Morgan is looking for an Accounting Clerk for our Downtown Nashville office who will report directly to the Accounting Manager and collaborate with senior-level Attorneys. This individual will not only ensure that the case side of accounting is ran with efficiency and accuracy but will also offer effective and responsive support to our internal legal team.

Responsibilities:

• Daily Funds Deposits
• Expense Authorization for Cost Disbursements
• Facilitate disbursements of funds according to Client Closing Statement
• Manage Shared Mailbox – handling request timely
• Data entry utilizing Excel / NetSuite Banking Application
• Verifying the Finalization of all Case Transactions before Month End Close (30-day Calendar Close)
• Point of Contact for Case related questions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal
• Critical Thinker
• Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced office environment
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and possess the ability to multitask
• Progressive Work Experience preferred
• Team player
