This is not an entry-level position. What Synergy is Looking For in a GREAT Candidate Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to identify patterns and trends that lead to revenue At least two years of medical billing experience and knowledge of medical billing/insurance practices A thorough understanding of all aspects of the revenue cycle and excellence in working A/R Knowledge of multiple billing computer software and EHR systems Knowledge of basic medical coding and third-party operating procedures and practices Experience with CMS Medicare and Medicaid Do you have experience contacting insurance companies and figuring out why they didn't pay a claim? Are you an expert at appealing and correcting medical claims? Have you used eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Intergy, or AllScripts? Do you understand insurance denials and the reasons insurance companies don't pay? Do you have detective-like problem-solving skills? If you answered "YES" this is the job for you!
