Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the business process and requirements analysis and implementation of the Data Modernization Initiative project. Job Title: Analyst | Location: Raleigh, NC | Contract: 12-Month | Start: 6/1/2026 | End: 5/31/2027 | Compensation: DOE | Requirement ID: 158201 Work Arrangement Hybrid Responsibilities Conduct stakeholder analysis Conduct market research and analysis Identify and document current and future state process workflows Create user stories and acceptance criteria Develop contextual diagrams, functional decomposition, and process workflows Develop business process models, use cases, wireframes, entity relationship diagrams, data dictionaries, and system context diagrams Gather, develop, document and validate business, functional and technical requirements Perform functional and integrated testing Prepare and maintain project documentation and artifacts including analysis, reports and user documentation Work with project managers, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements Create and maintain requirement traceability matrix Provide business analysis deliverables as input to procurement documents and assist in writing the procurement documentation UAT support, including developing test scenarios and cases Support required system go-live activities Build business, stakeholder, solution and transition requirements Document gap analysis Author and prepare meeting minutes to be distributed to a variety of audiences Author user stories, test scripts, and other Agile deliverables Follow PMO PM and BA methodology documentation Attend all PMO meetings Perform other related work as required Travel within the local Raleigh area to attend meetings Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies Demonstrated experience participating in the documentation of functional requirements and technical specifications for existing and new applications Strong writing and communication skills; can build relationships with team members and clients Results-oriented with strong work ethic and excellent negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work with customers as a member of cross-divisional work groups and maintain positive relationships with customers, peers, and superiors Ability to act independently with sound business judgment and thrive in an environment with diverse communication styles Ability to prepare and present oral and written documents clearly and concisely Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of Business Analysis and PMI PMBOK® Guide and Standards Experience working with customers to advise on strategies, alternatives and implications of application customizations and interface designs High-level understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design Ability to manage complex assignments with multiple work streams and aggressive timelines Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and processes Contact Call View phone number on click.appcast.io for more details.
