We also own the largest Telemundo Affiliate group with 46 markets and Gray Digital Media, a full-service digital agency offering national and local clients digital marketing strategies with the most advanced digital products and services. WBTV is the top rated CBS affiliate in market 21 and a digital publisher that reaches tens of millions of users each year, and the home of Gray Digital Media Charlotte, a full service in-house digital agency. It is the oldest television station in the Carolinas. It is known as a trusted source for News, Weather and information.

General Responsibilities:

• The internship will be for a term of 10 weeks
• This is a hands-on, real-world experience designed to teach you the fundamentals of media sales and help you build skills you can use in any career.

  What You'll Do: Learn the Hustle: Shadow our elite sales team to see how they craft winning strategies for local businesses. Master Multi-platform Marketing: Dive into the world of digital advertising, social media strategy, streaming (OTT), and linear broadcast sales to see how we reach audiences everywhere they are. Go Behind- the- Scenes: Get an all-access look at the inner workings of a major media station from the Newsroom to the Boardroom. Create a Real Impact: Assist in developing marketing materials and sales pitches that help local businesses grow and thrive. Build Your Network: Work alongside industry pros who are invested in your growth and ready to help you launch your career.

  What you'll learn:

Qualifications:

• Senior Status (preferred): You're currently enrolled in a college or university, ideally in your final year and ready to bridge the gap between the classroom and the real world.
• A "Business First" Mindset: You're earning a degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field and have a genuine hunger for the media industry.
