Contract | 12-Week Assignment | Days, 4x10s (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a 12-room operating room department at a Level 3 trauma center
• Perform across multiple surgical service lines including general, neuro, orthopedic, ENT, and GYN procedures
• Participate in on-call coverage, including call until 11:00 PM twice per week and every 3rd to 4th weekend
• Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting throughout the shift
• Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and radiation safety requirements while wearing a provided radiation badge

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute care operating room setting with a well-rounded surgical skill set
• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start)
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements including evenings and weekend rotations
• Radiation badge must be supplied by the placing agency prior to start; facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
• Must reside outside of a 60-mile radius of the facility; local travelers are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Broad scope of surgical specialty competency across multiple service lines
• Prior travel nursing experience, though first-time travelers with strong specialty competency will be considered
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
