- Cultivate Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create personalized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional goals.
- Implement Effective Therapies: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor functionality, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with Diverse Healthcare Teams: Work closely alongside occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver well-rounded, comprehensive care.
- Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance and information on therapeutic techniques to facilitate ongoing progress in a home environment.
- Track and Document Progress: Observe clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure consistent patient advancement.
- Graduation from a recognized Occupational Therapy program.
- Continued education or post-graduate certifications encouraged and supported.
- Possession of a valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required.
- A strong desire to assist others and empower them to achieve their highest level of independence.
- Empathetic and clear communication skills for both patients and teammates.
- Creative thinking abilities to adapt therapy plans to suit various patient needs.
