What you’ll do We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Insight Analyst with deep expertise in Tableau to join our dynamic Business Intelligence team. This role is crucial in transforming complex banking data into clear, actionable insights through compelling Tableau dashboards for senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will lead the design, development, and maintenance of high‑impact data visualizations, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery. You will possess demonstrably strong data modelling, database, and ETL skills, coupled with a proven ability to build compelling narratives from complex data. You will mentor junior analysts, drive best practices in data visualization and reporting, and play a pivotal role in informing strategic decisions across the organization. What we’ll need from you Tableau Expertise (Advanced): Proven expert‑level proficiency in designing, developing, and deploying complex, interactive Tableau dashboards, and reports. Must be currently working with Tableau in a professional environment and have many years of relevant and hands‑on experience with Tableau Server. Data Visualization: Demonstrably strong data visualization skills with a deep understanding of principles, UX/UI best practices for dashboards, and the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively. SQL (Advanced): Highly proficient in SQL for querying large and complex relational databases, data manipulation, and performance tuning. Strong SQL skills are a must. Experience with various database systems, in particular Oracle and SQL Server. Data Modelling & Database Skills: Demonstrably strong data modelling skills/experience (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema) and solid understanding of database design and management. ETL Skills: Strong ETL skills using various industry technologies for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Data Analyst & Process Engineering: Demonstrated Data Analyst and process engineering skillset. Data Sources & Connectivity: Experience connecting Tableau to diverse data sources, including traditional databases, cloud data platforms, and APIs. Performance Tuning: Ability to identify and resolve performance issues in Tableau dashboards and underlying data queries. Scripting/Programming (Desirable): Experience with Python or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, or integration with BI tools is a plus. Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) for managing Tableau workbooks and data assets. Effective collaborator: Building relationships and partnerships with others to meet shared objectives as well as communicating effectively in a way that conveys a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. A strong understanding of various project management methodologies and tools, the ability to monitor tight deadlines and/or unexpected requirement changes, and proficiency in the use of basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). High degree of initiative and personal accountability, self‑starter and highly motivated. Strong documentation skills.
